Christine took a call from one of the transit people who gave me directions, and he wasn't very happy with the story. But, I swear, that was my experience. I was so open minded about it and then I got lost. I should add--it wasn't just the guy on the phone who gave me directions. Bus drivers and bus riders did, too... and so that is also why I may have gotten turned around. Nonetheless, I think it could happen to ANY new rider! And, the pro riders said they wished there were more routes, because it still takes about an hour to get across town.

And yes, tanned fat looks so much better. I think it even masks cellulite! I think it shaves 10 pounds off in pictures, at least...

hey - i know this is work related, but i so appreciated your story on riding the bus. we were talking about that very thing the day you did your piece. a lot of our clients have to ride the bus and they wait for more than an hour for their appointment b/c of the way the bus schedule runs. it's tough for them to have a job AND get to all of the other places they need to go. anyway - i'm glad you shed light on the subject. i'm also glad that it was followed up with "this is who rides the bus" and "sometimes it's faster to walk from one bus stop to the next place you need to go instead of paying to ride for 30 minutes when you can walk it in 10". off the soap box now.
